I have spent so much time in researching controllers to buy thinking “there must be some controller between 1500 and 5000”.. Right?
Wrong! There is no controller *worth* buying.
Playstation 5 – worthless, why put in a TouchPad when no app/game uses it? Why not just provide robust drivers so it can be seemlessly used with windows /android. Also just throw you controller in the garbage after it has battery issues.
Logitech rumble pad – worthless, why would you not update you design so that people won’t have hand cramps while pressing triggers? Poor color scheme, sometimes erroneous inputs from triggers.
Cosmic byte – OK, this is great for the price, but is way worse than the xbox controller. Sometimes disconnects from pc.
Every other controller (ant esports/evofox/etc) – all have analog triggers, bad or very bad build quality, poor bluetooth
XBOX controller – works out of the box for Android, windows. Has removable battery + rechargeable battery mods. Best ergonomics ever! Triggers feel great, handle feels awesome, analog sticks are well placed. Great tactical feel for buttons.

the firmware needs to be updated by either the Xbox accessories windows app or an Xbox console via USB connection

Best to play with Android mobile

although the controller is good for the price but i felt like the ps5 controller is way better when is come to haptics… i mean its obvious ofc, but when i compared the vibrations of both the controller i felt like xbox controller had a weak but tight and a better quality vibrations but in a ps5 controller the vibrations a stronger but tab bit low quality, personally I prefer the ps5 controller even for pc but its just personal preference so… also the compatibility of the xbox controller with the pc is rather better than that of ps5 but there are still updates on ps5 controller so i think soon enough the ps5 also might be a plug and play controller on the pc hopefully atleast… and also for some odd reason the xbox game pass isint included with the box i dont really know why…

I bought this controller mainly for gaming on my laptop/PC.
Pros:
1) Classic Xbox style controller with slight upgrades from the previous version, which sits comfortably in your hands.
2) New Grip texture, helps with sweaty hands. Keep in mind though, the grips are still plastic, but high quality so you will definitely notice them.
3) Ever so slight change in the design from the previous version, not so drastic that it wont feel like you’re holding an Xbox controller but its been squared off at some places to give it a refresh.
4) D-Pad has been updated too, much like the one on the Xbox elite controller.
5) Buttons and triggers have a crisp and tactile feeling. No loose bits and pieces rattling like on some cheaper lower end controllers.
6) Connectivity is a breeze, thanks to Microsoft. Just that connecting to a different PC and then connecting back to your PC is little cumbersome. Not much. Just a tad.
7) Battery back-up is good. It needs 2xAA batteries. I’m a very versatile user, sometimes I barely play, other times I’m in front of the screen all day, so don’t really have an estimate in hours. But its plentiful and wont be a bother. You can still connect it with a wire so that’s good. Personally I prefer swappable batteries as you don’t need to wait for it to charge or risk putting it to charge before your gaming sesh. Furthermore, fixed Lithium ion batteries tend to lose their ability to hold charge overtime with each cycle. So that’s why I prefer removable batteries.
8)Windows Capture works great, just press the dedicated multifunction button to click a screenshot or press and hold to record a clip.
Cons:
1) The white color tends to stain up, but it is pretty easy to clean. Also, I knew this would happen but I was willing to live with it, because I just love this white color. Go for any other color, if that’s what you want. Note: the controller does not lose color or fade overtime, like so many others.
2) It would be good if they added backlighting to the buttons. 1.5k controllers have it, i dont know why Xbox still doesn’t. Nothing you cant get used to.
3) Sometimes the controller disconnects itself. Note, that it has not happened once while I was in the middle of playing. Only when trying to connect one or more controllers (Official Xbox). Maybe a bug on Microsoft’s part.
4) No indicator on the controller itself to show the battery percentage. You need to check it on your PC, where it shoes the approximate battery percentage left, its not that accurate though. One time, it showed the battery at 50% but shut down after 10 minutes.
5) The controller seems to not fully utilize the batteries. Like, the Controller wont start, you think maybe you need to swap out the batteries, but when you hold the batteries you can still feel that they have a charge due to their weight. I checked it out and almost 30% charge was left. My advice, Swap out one battery a time.
Review:
Overall this is a great controller with everything an average (Or even above average) gamer could need.
The pros far outweigh the cons. My advice would be to straight up get this controller. Even you were considering getting a 1-2k controller just to save some bucks, re-consider. Because, the cheap ones do not last that long, the buttons start softening up, color starts fading, you might lose the Bluetooth adapter and a million other things.
Would Recommend.

I like my Xbox controller in white. It works perfectly on the device that I use it on and it doesn’t have drift. The buttons aren’t that loud too. It didn’t come with game pass. I don’t know if it does come with it but I saw on a video that it says trial included. Otherwise, it is a great item.

Authentic controller. Feels well made and sturdy.

Can’t go wrong with the classic, it’s everyone’s go-to for a reason. My only complaint is that the joysticks are uncomfortable on my thumbs but that was easily fixed with some soft caps which aren’t expensive. I do regret getting a white one though… it doesn’t matter how clean your hands are, the triggers get dirty really quickly.

3. 14 days XBOX game pass which was missing
What not to expect:
1. You need a Type-C cable which doesn’t come with the box if you want to go wireless.
