Ótimo produto.

It’s good quality HDD from well known brand, Very Easy to install. Warranty is 2 years. Speed is more then Seagate HDD. Simply register your product on western digital website, just like I did mine, and see screenshot I have upload. It shows 757 days( approx. 2 years) warranty.
Only thing I did not like is that product does not come with outer BOX. It’s electronic product and back of the hard disk is simply open and easily can be damaged during transportation.

Using it for quite a while now, over 6 months. Didn’t have any serious problems so far. The operation is quiet and pretty much stable. It does hangs at times and adds up to slower boot times, but seems very reliable so far. Better than Seagate HDDs of course! The data transfer happens in 30-40 MB/s withing the disk generally, which is average I would say. Except that, this is a good buy in this range.

Seller: systemneeds
Price: 4050/-
Delivery: 8 days!!
Package: Not good, has bubble wrapped, rest space in carton was put up with papers???
Recommended: Of course yes !!!… For gamers and computer enthusiasts
About seller :
The HDD was delivered after a week. And also the status of the HDD (under track) was not at all updated…Had to check with seller manually. Packing was okay. In a carton box with full of papers and HDD covered in bubble wrapper. Heard some friends bought through flipkart had tough time in this packing segment.

It has been over 3 years, 4 months since I started using this. NO ISSUES AND HICKUPS till date. Amazing performance and very perfect for gaming. The success rate of WD is generally high compared to Seagate. I have had two seagate HDD failed in less than 3 years span. This WD is marching toward 4 years and going strong.
♦ Excellent transfer speeds 50-60 MBps
♦ Works very good on dusty and unclean environment
♦ Not much of heat and sound when under full load
♦ Tested this for continuous operations over several days (without rest).
♦ Works perfectly on very hot 40 deg climate without PC cooling solutions.
Typical transfer rate in windows 7 observed is 50-60 MBps. Games load very quick (slower than SSDs).
You can trust and buy.
Update after 30 months:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Excellent. Started with Win-7, now running Win 8, still excellent performance, no lagging or corruption of data. Several hundred hours of non-stop running, this is one hell of a solid rock…go for it…
Update after 35 months:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Amazing…. Keeps up a steady 50-65 MBps with a peak of 80 MBps while copying. no noise, no excess heat or signs or wear…even though sitting on the dusty PC… no hiccup in 1080p modern gaming, nothing less to SSDs (in usage point of view). Guys, this is ultimate…don’t miss if you are a PC enthusiasts…a beast…for the price you pay

The hard drive I received is faulty and makes noise when attached to my PC. Unfortunately, neither Amazon Replace/refund nor WD has been able to assist me with the replacement of this faulty hard drive
issue. I’m frustrated that I’ve lost Rs 4300 purchasing such a defective product from Amazon.

PACKING:
Packing, while not great, wasn’t too bad either. Mine came wrapped in a healthy amount of bubble wrap placed inside a appropriately sized cardboard box. That said, it wasn’t a snug fit. The HDD had some wiggle room inside the box. More bubble wrap or perhaps some foam/thermocol would have made it even more secure. Plus, a bit more tape on the outside wouldn’t have hurt.
WEIGHT:
Quite a bit lighter than the drive it replaced, a Seagate 1TB 7200rpm (ST31000524AS) HDD. Probably the lightest 1TB HDD I’ve held.
SPEED:
Much faster than my old Seagate HDD. I don’t recall its exact speeds but the max read speeds it could hit was only about 110 MB/s with average speeds under 100 MB/s. A quick Google search shows similar results.
This thing on the other hand gets close to 200 MB/s with a max read speed of 196.5 MB/s and an average read speed of 156.5 MB/s. Its lowest speed of 96 MB/s is close to what the average speed of my previous drive was.
TEMPERATURES:
Runs pretty cool. When I tested the HDD before installing it in my case, it was running close to 40C. After installing it in my case right in front of a 120mm fan, it sits around 34-35C.
SOUND/NOISE:
No clicking, grinding or any other weird sounds. Just normal HDD sounds. I would say its ever so slightly more audible than my old HDD (understandable given its much faster) but nothing that should bother anyone. Not inaudible but fairly quiet considering its a HDD. If you want total silence, buy a SSD.
WARRANTY:
The HDD I received was a brand new sealed unit manufactured in March 2018. Confirmed warranty by checking the serial number on Western Digital’s website. But before registering the HDD, my drive was under warranty only till April 2020 which is less than 2 years from the date of purchase. After registering the HDD with the correct purchase date, it now shows close to the full 2 year warranty period. You should register your HDD on the Western Digital website the first chance you get.
Sadly, both WD and Seagate offer only a measly 2 year warranty these days. My old Seagate HDD had a 5 year warranty.
SUMMARY:
Definite upgrade over my previous 1TB drive in terms of performance and a great complement to my Samsung 256GB SSD.
PS: Short-stroke your HDDs. Look it up on Google for more info. Basically, download HD Tune, run the benchmark and see where the speed start dropping off noticeably. For a 1TB drive, its usually around 200-250GB. Make a primary partition of 200-250GB. This is the fastest area of the disk where you’ll get close to the max read/write speed consistently. Put your OS/programs/games on this partition. Create a secondary partition with the remaining space and use that for storage purposes. Very handy way to get better performance especially if you don’t have an SSD.
