The photo doesn’t show it but there is a special key on the loop of the cable which is used to change the combination. Instructions are clear (very small print) on where the correct combination is and how to change the combination. The key slots on the end of the lock are easy to locate and turn when the combination is set. When not in use, the cable coils up as shown. Good price and quality Kensington brand name product.

Our store uses a touchscreen laptop of point of sale fairly near the store door, and I feel much more secure with this lock making sure it stays with us. Works smoothly and well.

It is light, convenient, reliable, and cheap!
The only DISADVANTAGE for all PC lockers is that they unlock automatically when the right number is put.
For example: there are 10 000 different combinations.
It doesn’t take a lot of time for the robber to steal it when he has to just spin those numbers fast, and the locker just unlocks by it self when riches the right number.
I did an experiment: it took me 33 mins to spin all the numbers from 0000 to 9999 quickly.
But people never put something close to 0000 or 9999.
People usually put something like 5465; thus it will take even less time (15 mins) for robber to scroll all combinations until it just opens automatically.

This is.meant to attach to large and expensive products to secure them. But seems very flimsy and easy to break.
