Bitdefender Internet Security has been my go to security suite for a few years now. Kaspersky is still the best in terms of pure detection rate and elimination of active/passive malware. But the drawback is that Kaspersky is overly agressive and for someone like me who regularly uses modified .exe files, the Kaspersky algorithm is a nightmare. BD has a decent detection rate and is quite capable of rolling back any changes made by malware on the system, plus it’s not nearly as agressive as Kaspersky, which makes it more suitable for those who use modified executables often, like pirated gamesðŸ¤ðŸ¤«. If you only use the internet for social media and checking your e-mail, don’t bother with a security suite. Windows Defender is more than enough. If you want the best premium protection for your system, go with Kaspersky. If you are an advanced user that uses modified executables, and want protection without the headache of false hits and constantly moving your files out of quarantine because of the security system being bordeline paranoid, go with Bitdefender.

The program has two step installation, in which you are mendated to create an account with Bitdefender. Also, I would like to mention the staggering amount of notification this application throws. The notifications are not within windows 10 notification system, but are of its own and cannot be dismissed manually. I work on a two factor authenticated WiFi network at work, and whenever I connect to it, I receive notifications every two seconds. There’s no foolproof way of disabling notification without disabling protection.
So, I’d recommend this to anyone who intends to use their device at home or direct connected pc. The security aspect is perfect though. It detected all 5 of my test samples. (I’m bit of an enthusiast). If you’re bothered by constant notifications, don’t buy it.

The antivirus is excellent in protection. It has vpn feature which will connect to premium servers across the world. Detects all kinds of virus and malwares and also asks to block or allow the attempt of connecting to internet by any application. It also blocks incoming connections from unsafe websites if you visit them. This antivirus does not affect system performance at all. Purchased at a price of 195, whereas other antivirus softwares are expensive. The only minus point is that the scanning process is a bit slow. Though not that slow but it seems to be somewhat slow. Other than this it is best antivirus. I would recommend to buy this one rather than total security as for protection purpose the bitdefender internet security does the same job as the bitdefender total security.
