Had to return an Epson as it was faulty and couldn’t get a replacement. Bought this instead, what a difference! Installing software wasn’t as quick, but the quality of scanned pictures and ease of use is far superior. AND it was over £40 cheaper. Using the scanner for a community heritage project and scanning mainly black and white photos. Would definitely recommend.

Soy autónomo y buscaba simplemente digitalizar las facturas que me dan en papel para tenerlo todo junto y organizado, por lo que mis expectativas tampoco son altas. Seguro que se le puede sacar mucho más jugo al scanner de lo que yo haré nunca con el.
Lo que más me ha gustado es que solo lleva un cable (el de usb) que también es el propio para l alimentación eléctrica, asà como su rapidez trabajando

Ho acquistato il Canon CanoScan LIDE 400 per digitalizzare le vecchie foto di famiglia e sono rimasto molto soddisfatto del risultato. Il processo di scansione è rapido e il software incluso è facile da usare, permettendomi di ottenere immagini nitide e dettagliate.
Inoltre, l’opzione di scansione automatica per foto multiple mi ha permesso di risparmiare tempo e di scannerizzare più foto contemporaneamente.
La qualità costruttiva dello scanner è eccellente, con un design elegante e una struttura solida. Inoltre, la sua compattezza lo rende facile da riporre in un cassetto quando non in uso.
In definitiva, il Canon CanoScan LIDE 400 è un ottimo scanner per foto familiari. Consiglio vivamente questo prodotto a chiunque sia alla ricerca di un dispositivo di alta qualità per digitalizzare le vecchie foto di famiglia facendo cosi contento tutti.

Habe aufgrund der höheren Auflösung von 4800 dpi mich für dieses Modell anstatt des LIDE 300 entschieden . auch hier sollte man die Treiber direkt vom Hersteller herunterladen. Auch unter Windows 11 gibt es dann eigentlich keine Probleme. Natürlich steigt mit höherer Auflösung die Zeit des Einscannens. Die meisten Dokumente wird man jedoch bei etwa 300 dpi bis maximal 600 dpi scannen. Lobenswert ist ein USB 3 (hier als USB-C Anschluss) , Das Kabel ist ausreichend lang. Das Scanner macht die üblichen Geräusche, ist dabei nicht unbedingt leise, aber das sollte eigentlich auch niemand stören. Wichtig sind hier die Ergebnisse, die man auch mit der beiliegenden Software zufriedenstellend erhalten kann. Aufgrund der TWAIN Technik und eines passenden Treibers kann auch in jeder Art von Grafik Software oder Textverarbeitung etwas in die Anwendung direkt eingescannt werden. Man hat natürlich auch die üblichen Möglichkeiten zur Verbesserung oder Änderung der Bildparameter. Alles in allem eine absolute Kaufempfehlung.
