Right out of the box, the TP-Link UE300 impressed me with its compact and lightweight design. It was easy to plug into my computer’s USB port, and the attached Ethernet cable made it easy to connect to my router. I appreciated that the adapter didn’t require any additional software or drivers to work – it was truly plug and play.
One thing to note is that the TP-Link UE300 does get a bit warm during extended use. While this didn’t affect the product’s performance, it was noticeable to the touch and might be something to keep in mind if you plan to use the adapter for long periods of time.

I recently had the misfortune of getting myself a Macbook Pro. For those who are familiar, Apple has gotten rid of all essential ports from the Macs. There is no Ethernet port. Nor is there a Thunderbolt 2 port on it. However, to confuse people, they sell these adapters one of which I accidentally ended up buying – its their Ethernet to Thunderbolt adapter. There is no mention if it supports Thunderbolt 1 or 2 or 3 on the Apple store listing. Therefore, to those who buy stuff in a hurry thinking they will be able to return it in case it doesn’t work, it is a perfect trap. Because, Apple does not have a return & refund policy in India. Can you believe it? No returns accepted. Period.
So, now, I was stuck with an adapter that was practically junk for me and nothing more than e-waste. That’s when I started looking for a solution that will work and came across this Tp Link adapter. It’s simply fabulous, does what it says on the tin and was easy peasy lemon squeezy to use. No technical knowledge needed. Plug and play. Fill it, shut it.
So, to those looking to add Ethernet support to their Macbook Pros, this is the adapter for you. Not the ones sold by Apple. Stay away from Apple store. They do not accept returns and do not support refunds.

Serve até para TV Smart, que tem placa de rede antiga, conecta via USB e o cabo de rede…eu testei e funciona muito bem. Não cai de jeito nenhum a conexão…
