Bought in mar 24 for using ryzen 5600g and it work out of box , no bios update needed , even on box 5000 ready is not printed . But it works good I got it in 4800 with bank offer

But when i orderd i forget to check the socket, bc it said the socket was am3 now my cpu fits in am4 but when it arrived and when I checked it the box said am4 and it was indeed a am4 socket. Very confusing next time make it clear what socket it is

i have amd ryzen 3600. it worked out of box without bios update.
1. the motherboard could not handle the processor 3600 cpu voltage automatically, was causing freeze here and there. i had to choose the cpu voltage manually to 1.3v. everything was working perfect.
2. also have to swtich off pression boost and pefromance boot auto to avoid bods and freeze.
so all.my cores are at 3.6 ghz. even with this the system is blazing fast.
3. i think to avoid these compromise one have to choose either b550 or x570 or do aome tweaking in the current board with appropriate cooler to over clock.
4.ONE IMPORTANT THING TO NOTE IS THE ONBOARD AUDIO QUALITY. IT KIND OF SUCKS. I EVEN HAVE A320 GIGABYTE S2H BOARD WHICH HAD FAR SUPERIOR AUDIO QUALITY.
I AM PLANING TO UPGRADE MY AUDIO, SINCE THE ONBOARD AUDIO IS NOT WORTH MENTIONING. WORST AUDIO QUALITY.
If you are ready to compromise these. this board is still the best in this budget in terms of performance.

The first one I ordered didn’t work but then I returned it and the new one works perfectly!! Really good for starters but it only has 2 entrances for fans (+1 for the CPU)
Oh and no RGB entrances either, other than that it’s good!!
