I added a Crucial 8GB DDR4 3200Mhz CL22 stick to my Lenovo Ideacentre 3 desktop with core i3 12100, and it works great! The machine already had a 8GB stick manufactured by SK Hynix, so I was a bit worried about adding a stick from Crucial with Micron chips. Moreover, the Lenovo pre-built desktop does not support XMP with its locked down BIOS. So, I was looking specifically for a stick that can run at 3200Mhz in JEDEC standard mode without needing XMP, and this Crucial stick fit the bill perfectly. There was no problem whatsoever mixing SK Hynix and Micron chips since both were 3200Mhz CL22, and my PC operates them in dual channel mode and passes the memory test. Now, I can easily have a lot of tabs open in Chrome while simultaneously running an Ubuntu VM in the background.

I added 2 of these to my XPS 8940. I now have 32 GB of RAM, it might be too much but I like my Dell very much. The computer recognized them right after installation. My RAM speed is 2666MHz (not 3200MHz) because of the i5 cpu. Not a big deal.

only if you use 1 ram its ok the movement you use 2 ram of same or diffrant brand it will just gonna be hell for you main reson at lest not for valo it will freeze whole systam for no reson whenever you close valo when using two ram at same time so dont buy this hot garbage
it will corrupt windows i had to reinstall windows about 4 times from the day i brought it cause it keeps corrupting windows for no reson but nothing like this happns with 1 stick i tried the same ram that my friend had same probelm i use diffrent ram same problem he also told me he had probem with valo it will just frezze whole systm cause of it and yeah peformance is also big part usaully dual channal ram (using two ram) is better performance but when i used Corsair Vengeance ram i got round up 300 fps on using 8gb stick and before i was getting anyware from 180 to 280 fps and its dosent even lags much
