This item is “CD DRIVE” not a “DVD RW Writer”, Actually there is Sticker on top in which written “SUPER MULTI DVD REWRITER”, But after assembled in my laptop DELL VOStRO 1400 first its shows its CD-DRIVE in my computer instead of DVD DRIVE & unable to read DVD disc, Only able to read typical CD-R format Disc.

It has no opening for cd and front Basel of panel cannot be fixed. Simply not a player
