I didn’t buy this from Amazon. I got it from lamington road, mumbai for around 12200 something.
Games such as gta4, gta5, etc run at smooth 60fps on high settings(not ultra).
I am really not very much into playing games on ultra on 100+fps and all so the card is very satisfying and value to money.
I recommend this card for people who just wanna enjoy smooth 60fps 1080p gaming for please gaming experience and nothing too heavy.
I wont recommend this card for hardcore PC gamers.

Bought this for my first PC build, so far I haven’t found a game that it has trouble running. Solid card for a low/midrange build

It’s sad to see that currently indian retailers are selling this card for Rs. 25-30k because of the global GPU crisis. I feel so lucky to have purchased this for 14k in October 2020, because this GPU can run most games smoothly at 60+ fps in very high graphics presets (at 1080p resolution), and really demanding games at 60 fps in medium settings. For popular eSports games like DOTA, Valorant, Fortnite, CS:GO, Apex Legends etc, expect atleast 120 fps. Since this is a lower mid range GPU, don’t expect it to excel at 1440p (although it can manage) or even try to run games at 4K/2160p resolution. The GTX 1660 6 GB is a solid 1440p card but not the GTX 1650 OC, or even the 1650 SC or 1650 Ti. For 1080p gaming which is still the most popular and used resolution for gaming according to steam monthly global users hardware survey, this card offers great value for money and reliable performance and is good for that job atleast u til 2024-2025.

This is an amazing product it provides me 60+ fps in far cry new dawn even on ultra while recording. It’s an quality product and also would I recommend you to buy an msi graphics card instead of the other inno3d or Galax etc.. as they won’t provide you after sales services.

I bought this to upgrade the GPU in my Linux machine running Ubuntu 20.04. It’s used for a bit of gaming (Kerbal Space Program runs wonderfully with all the highest detail settings on now) but mostly for GPU-based calculations on BOINC tasks.
The GPU computing part is the most important reason I went for this over the overclocked variety – some tasks are a but funny with overclocked GPU’s. It runs 24/7 at as near to full capacity as I can make it. At that load, the fans on the card can’t be heard over the PSU and CPU/RAM fans, so I’d say they’re quiet enough for my purposes. In terms of real-world performance of the GPU for calculations, I have a PrimeGrid task for the Genfer19 project that’s been running for over 6 days on the CPU (Xeon@3.5Ghz) but when run through the GPU they’re taking 7,674-ish seconds on the GPU.
When gaming the card runs at about 40% capacity and the fans hardly run at all.
Installation was a breeze – plug it in and switch on. After a couple of seconds I was at the desktop and ready to download the drivers from Nvidia’s website. Even without the drivers loaded, I had 1920×1080 displays on both of my monitors, not sure what the experience would have been on Windows as I don’t use it so YMMV.
In terms of electrical power, this card needs a six-pin connection from your power supply, so a properly rated power supply is a must. I’m running a 700W unit which is probably a bit more than I need for this, but you should check the requirements of the machine you’re running.
If you’re considering buying this card, be aware that it needs some space around it for airflow, and will take up two slots in your case, and two expansion slots in the backplane. I didn’t check the physical size of the PCB against the space I had available and I’ve had to modify my case as a result. I’d also suggest that you make sure you’ve got some space around the PC for ventilation, as it draws quite a bit of power and your PSU will generate a bit more heat as a result.
Overall, I’m very happy with this card.
