The mini UPS gave good backup initially, for about 3 hours. But that deteriorated very quickly and in about 8 months it would give about 10 mins of backup. Contacted their support as the warranty is of 1 year. After some trouble shooting they agreed to replace with a new UPS. This kind of warranty experience is unheard of in India. While it would be great to have a product that doesnt stop working with in the warranty period, but getting a good support is the next best thing.

I bought this one year ago and it gave more than 3 hours of backup for a single BSNL Fiber modem. Towards the end of the warranty period of one year, during an extended power cut, I noticed that the backup had drastically reduced to 25 minutes. I contacted the company and after the preliminary verification with date, place of purchase, bill, address, etc., they decided to replace the old unit with a brand new set. After-sales service is excellent. A courier will pick up the old unit from your home and they will send a new one by another courier. Once I had received the new set, I checked the backup time and it gave 4 hours of backup. Do note that backup time depends on the quality of the rechargeable battery and with time they do degrade, decreasing the amount of backup time. To anyone needing more information on mini UPS, there is a YouTube video comparing 4 different brands titled “4 Best Mini UPS for Wifi Router in India Real-time Tested.” Oakter mini UPS has come out on top of the list with the best backup time. HelloAll, This is my real experience with Oakter MINI UPS 12V power backup for the wifi routers. Issue: after 10 months usage the mini UPS is not giving backup, power goes down immediately even though fully charged(3 hours of time) then I have contacted support team and they suggested some workaround steps and shared the images, vedios to them. After seeing those vedios the team is confirmed the piece is not working properly so we are going to deliver new product within 5 to 6 working days. Also they have shared the replacement order ID to me.
I am happy to purchased this Oakter UPS . Also I will suggest who ever is looking for Mini UPS for wifi routers then must/ first preference for this product.

I have been using it for many years and now ordered another one. Gives good backup during power cut. They say it’s 4 hours – I have never used the backup for that long. But for 15-20 mins till the power is gone I have not seen any problem with the product. The support team is very helpful. I suggest before starting using the device, charge it in off position (there is 0-1) button at the back. Keep it as 0 and then charge for 4-5 hours, then plug it in your modem. The installation is super easy.

I reached out to their customer service, and they have asked to follow certain process to find the cause and later after confirmation about the issue, they quickly replaced my unit under warranty. This swift and effective replacement demonstrated their outstanding after-sales support. Although the original product had some problems, the company’s attentive and friendly customer service really made a difference. All in all, I’m pleased with their service and would suggest trying out their products.
