using this keyboard for more than 10 months and its still working fine , there is no problem with the RGB or any keycaps. and also its very satisfying to press the keys. You must buy it and its worth the price.

Amazing quality keyboard. Easy to use, makes typing so elegant and easy with adaptable light options underneath the keyboard adding to the look.

Awesome lighting effects even though I prefer static light when working. per key rgb also makes the text extremely clear no matter on what angle you see. you can also buy and change the keycaps as this keyboard is highly customizable.
It comes with extra switches but now they started giving only blue switch with blue switch one and that makes more sense as one will replace the bad switches with those extra switches and since they give extra switches it means they are hot swappable.
It also have a decent weight to it and the rubber pads gives it very nice grip with the desk.
Oh and the sound of blue switches is just awesome, even though they are little loud especially if this is your first mechanical keyboard, but they still sound great.
Let’s see how long they hold. Initial impression of this keyboard is very good though.

I’ve only had it for a few days so far, so obviously I can’t speak to how it holds up or extensive use, but so far I am absolutely loving it. Everything is great so far, switches, RBG, presets, it’s solid. Definitely pleased, would buy Redragon again.

It has blue outemu switches if you like clicky sounds. Comes with 18 different backlits with 5 levels of brightness. 5 light effects on side of keyboard with adjustable brightness level. Good keyboard in this price range. Gives everything you will get with a hyperx around 8k. Comes with 8 switches and other stuff. The only thing i wanted was a braided cable but it’s fine. It’s a good keyboard and red dragon are doing great.

To be honest, I have not bought this keyboard for gaming purpose. I’m developer and as a developer, we write lot’s of code and it requires good keyboard.
Before going for Redragon K580 VATA, I looked around for may keyboard and many of recommendation was for TVS gold and Ritcomp Cherry because in India, these are the most common keyboard you can find and even many banks use this same. If you get one of these keyboards, they cost around 2500-3500 which makes no sense to be honest because no backlight and made out of plastic. By Just paying 1500 more, you can get this K580 Vata. So Far, I’m using this keyboard from last one month and the experience with this keyboard is next level. Specially on keyboard, it has volume and keyboard brightness roller which is quite handy and damn satisfying to use.
While doing research, I also considered Redragon K586 Brahma which is next gen of k580 vata but it’s not available in India. I wish K586 could have launched in India. But still, K580 vata it’s really great keyboard and comes with may functionality. Although I have not used every functionality because I’m not Gamer so I can’t give gamer’s perspective but as a programme and heavy keyboard user, it’s really grate.
One thing annoys me is, the software is not good. It’s to buggy and doesn’t work well.
This is best keyboard under 5000. I can easily recommend this keyboard.
Thanks

I’m not gonna look at big brands no more

This keyboard is fantastic for how affordable it is. It’s solidly built, looks good, feels good for typing and gaming, macro and media keys work easily right outta the box, and it even has some replacement switches to maintain it for awhile after it ages.
However, any of the larger keys, particularly on the bottom row, (spacebar, alt, etc) have a habit of not popping back up after they’re hit. It’s not hugely common that this happens – they’ve gotten stuck maybe a dozen times in a week of use – but it is annoying and has led to a few bad moments in games.
Perhaps replacing those particular switches would fix the problem entirely, but I’ve yet to try. Still, that one flaw doesn’t detract from how otherwise perfect this keyboard is.

1st keyboard delivered was broken from the sides which made the corner keys unusable (attached pictures). The packing isn’t good. Just the box with keyboard inside a basic bubble wrap which gives 0 protection.
Replacement keyboard has scratches and marks of wear n tear on the keys and the body itself. The area around some screws were scratched – meaning it was probably opened at some time so I’m guessing there’s a high chance you’ll not get a first hand keyboard and probably get a refurbished types. Same style of packing there for the replacement keyboard as well. For me it was still acceptable since I replaced the original keys with pudding key caps.
They keyboard itself is good. Blue switches are great (loudest so some might not like the sound of the keys) and the keys are also hot swappable. I haven’t had any issues with the software. The only downside about the software is that if you’re using multiple redgear devices, then all devices use different software (I haven’t been able to find a common one for all).
The wire for the keyboard is not braided. Accessories included were two different keycap pullers and 5 additional keys, a manual and a redgear dragon logo sticker.
The macro keys on top are not illuminated. They have a rubber/plastic like feeling to it. The side illumination looks great and goes well with pudding keycaps if you ever decide to replace them.

Its been 7 months and keyboard is working well but two key rgbs not working instert key rgb getting dim and backspace rgb only red colour lits up Dont waste your 4-5ks in this

1. I wasn’t at all impressed by the packaging from redragon company , before this i had bought redgear’s gmk for 2000₹ and their packaging was way better.
2. I personally like blue switches and this keyboard is nicely dampened sou can expect only the clicky sound of the switch and it’s nicely lubricated
3. For price is a good product i think 4.5k should’ve been the wired version and 5k should’ve been the wireless
4. Rgb is good and plenty variations only thing is it’s brightness , rgb glow isn’t bright enough
5. Btw very important, REDRAGON ‘S rgb software isn’t working , still trying to trouble shoot buh no luck.
6. After replacement the software issue got solved , looks like the previous keyboard had hardware problem so the redragon software couldn’t detect the board . The new one can be detected and now is fully functional and i can use it to set macros
