It is good overall and can hold my heavy gaming laptop, but the top arms are not connected by the X arms, so it is a little wobbly

It it actually quite. Even for heavy laptop it is quite stable. But it not as must flexible in height setting. Unlike other stand it doesn’t provide height adjustment flexibly, the bolts are need to be loose to move it but under weight of laptop it doesn’t hold, so you have to tight the bolts, but when the bolts are tight you can’t make the height adjustment easily.
So it is only good if you want the fixed stand with good stability and need only occasionally height adjustment here and there.
They do provide a tool to tights the bolts which comes handy.
Also I don’t know why, but why this simple iron stand is made in china, are we just importing anything from China?

Bought this product due to neck pain.
Easy to install. Double hieght adjustment which is not availablein others, other, value for money, sturdy. You Will need key board and mouse if u plan to use double hieght

I would suggest you to buy this. The dual ladder helps getting the screen at the eyesight height.
