UPDATE 8/11/2023 – It is already having connection issues; the wire is the problem because fiddling with the wire fixes it. Considering what to do might have to return it as it may stop working completely later on after the return period. Very disappointed. Don’t know how others are rating it so high.

UPDATE 9/11/2023 – Whenever a second USB device is connected AND the charger is connected to the dock, the charging stops working and keeps switching between Power and battery mode. The charger is 65w so sufficient power to power everything, but I will keep the docking station and take the loss because I want to try a 100w anker charger.

Consider this: There is a very small market for these, and the stock moves slow as such sometimes torn and broken items are shipped to customers.

I ordered the device on 20th Oct and now it is 6th Nov, it already takes a long time to deliver to my location and needing a replacement meant I have not been able to do the things I needed it for.
It is finally here and working well for now. I do not see the point of this unless you need a stand along with extension of your input.

About the device:
# The device is pretty decent.
# Build quality is good.
# The bottom has a rubber strip to prevent sliding.
# The body heats up when charging so I would be careful and keep an eye on the temps as that can lead to USB ports dying.
# It does the job it is intended to do but be careful and treat it like a delicate thing.
# These are low quality products from Chinese factories that allow you to put your name on a generic designed device. You will find many devices that have the same design and configuration but a different brand because of that.
# Nothing wrong with that but beware that the quality is usually a hit and miss with these things.
# Be prepared for this to stop working after some time these things do not last long unless taken care of and it is usually heat or drops that break them. IF you can prevent those this might last long enough to justify the cost over those significantly cheaper extension.

NOTE: The length of the wire is really short although I am using it with a ROG ally instead of a Steam Deck.

I have been using this for 30 days now, it is Excellent, unlike other hubs this has no noise on the HDMI, charging is fast, and even lan works very well, and the build quality is excellent too.

A bit too expensive, still, given there’s no USB C data port or SD card adapter. The cable could stand to be an inch or two longer (that is what she said, I am aware). The most unfortunate thing about this dock is that it covers up the Steam Deck’s air intake ports partially. Still works as intended though, and as an added bonus the aluminium shell is thick enough to act as a bonus heat sink for the device, even though it ends up sending some of that heat back into the Steam Deck through the intake.

Good quality and works well
