Cosmic Byte Meteoroid RGB Laptop Cooling Pad with 6 Fan Upto 17 inch laptops (Black/Blue)

I recently purchased the Laptop Cooling Pad from Amazon, filled with hopes of keeping my laptop cool during those long gaming sessions and resource-intensive tasks. Unfortunately, my experience with this product has been nothing short of disappointing.

Initially, I was pleased with the cooling pad’s sleek design and the promise of enhanced ventilation for my laptop. The fans seemed to work fine, providing decent airflow and keeping the laptop temperature within acceptable limits. However, after just two months of regular use, the cooling pad suddenly stopped working altogether.

I tried troubleshooting the issue by checking the connections, cleaning the fans, and ensuring proper power supply, but nothing seemed to revive it. It’s disheartening to invest in a product that fails so quickly and without any warning. I expected a longer lifespan, considering the price I paid for this cooling pad.

Furthermore, the build quality of this product leaves much to be desired. The material used feels cheap and flimsy, and the fans are quite noisy even when they were operational. The lack of a fan speed control option is also a drawback, as sometimes I needed a more gentle airflow rather than the full blast.

Given my experience, I cannot recommend this Laptop Cooling Pad to others. Its short lifespan and lackluster build quality are major concerns. I would have expected a product like this to last much longer and deliver on its promises. It’s frustrating to have spent my hard-earned money on something that fails to meet basic expectations.

I plan to explore alternative cooling solutions for my laptop, ones that offer better reliability and build quality. This cooling pad has left me feeling let down, and I hope that others can make a more informed decision based on my review.

In summary, save your money and look for a more reliable and durable cooling pad option that will actually stand the test of time.

 Product is ok, fan speed are average, suitable for AC rooms not normal rooms, not suitable for MSI GE77HX, my laptop wobbles with this pad.

I am writing this review after using this product for 2 years. good to ventilate in summer but dust trapped inside the fans are not cleanable. and also one leg of stand broke

Using it for 3 months. I generally don’t turn in the fans, using it as a base to improve air flow
1. Air flow has improved vastly, due to the mesh. You can check many in depth reviews of fans, they will tell you that keeping the laptop on these stands without switching it on will make a good improvement.
2. I don’t play games much, so haven’t tested it there.
3. I generally code and do photo/video editing. My laptop used to get heated a bit, since these softwares need good amount of resources. Now, I haven’t felt that with the fans.
4. The fans are very silent, so no need to worry about that.
5. Blue light comes out of the fan.
6. The switch for toggling off the small fans, has already malfunctioned. Since, I don’t require that, that’s why I haven’t sent it for warranty. You can be mindful of this point, the switches might not have a good durability.
7. The grip is quite good, and also two bars are there in the front. You can use that if you’re slanting it, the laptop will stick to it.
8. You can increase/decrease the angle of cooling pad w.r.t. desk. This can be used for ergonomic purposes.
