Now, let me preface this review by saying, this is arguably, the best stylus on the market. There is no equal to the Apple Pencil (2nd generation) a.k.a. Apple Pencil 2 besides maybe the current Surface Pen but even that needs an uncommon AAAA battery that people would specifically need to hunt for.
PROS
——
1) Incredible precision and accuracy while writing/drawing.
2) Instantaneous output the moment it comes into contact with the device
3) Useful “double tap” gestures
4) Robust and high quality unibody design
5) Charges wirelessly by attaching magnetically to side of iPad Pro
6) Magnetic attachment provides a means of storing your Apple Pencil
7) Building off of, #2, Introduction of iPadOS reduces latency and improves performance for Apple Pencil 2.
CONS
——
1) No spare tips in the box despite being MORE expensive than the 1st generation Apple Pencil (which just so happens to include a spare tip in the box) so take good care of your stylus.
2) Eats into your iPad Pro’s battery reserves
3) Relying on the magnetic attachment to store your Apple Pencil may not be the best long term solution to ensure safe storage and preservation of your device’s battery.
NOTE: Look for a case that will give you an option (like Zugu’s Muse Case)
Truthfully, the 2nd Gen Apple Pencil should be labelled as the Apple Pencil Pro for 2 reasons:-
1) It only works with the current generation of iPad Pro (2018)
2) Apple has released 2 tablets after the iPad Pro (2018) namely the iPad Air (2019) and iPad (2019) and both these devices are only compatible with the FIRST generation of Apple Pencil
Anyway, that’s besides the point. Truth be told, this is an expensive accessory but if you’re committing to purchasing the iPad Pro, it is a waste if you don’t get the Apple Pencil 2 having committed that much money. Despite the steep price, I have to admit that it’s worth it especially if you want to take notes, write and/or draw.
This second iteration is superior to its predecessor in every way. It charges and pairs wirelessly without having to stick it into a lightning port (the iPad Pro has a USB Type-C port where as other iPad models still use lightning), there’s no cap to lose that covers the lightning plug since it’s a unibody design and it can attach magnetically to the device without having to look for a means to store it.
Apple could have approached pricing in one of two ways:-
1) Price it at the current level WITH AT LEAST ONE SPARE TIP in the box.
2) Keep the pricing of the 2nd Gen Apple Pencil the SAME as the 1st Gen model with NO spare TIPS in the box since it is a superior product.
So, is this item worth the money? Yes.
Is it value for money? I’m sorry to say, it’s not despite me having purchased this item.
However, if you do make the plunge, you won’t regret it. The nib is very durable but since Apple has included spare tips with the 1st Gen of Apple Pencil, it’s a shame they don’t for the 2nd Gen Apple Pencil especially at the increased price point.

Authentic Apple Pencil; very useful to make notes for a student.

After using it for a while, these are my observations:
– grip by itself is great
-rolls off tables easily so please buy a protective case to ensure it’s longevity and prevent breakage
-seamlessly works with my iPad Air 5
-I have not yet noticed any wear down of the tips

Bra pris, snabb leverans, original penna. Allt är bra.

This is an Apple pencil for apple ipad Air5(in my case). It’s the best of the best yet overpriced thing like any other apple product. That sums up everything in one line.

Ok fine, yeah it has a good balanced weight, matte finish body with hard rubber tip. Snaps magnetically to the side in both orientation, holds the charge for about 2-3hours of continuous usage and obviously it has no competitor in terms of optimization.
VERDICT: If you make regular notes or draw like me, then go for it. It would be a good investment in the long run however, if you just want another apple accessory just to show off then its basically meaningless and unworthy.

Very expensive but works great.

10/10 recommended if you have an iPad and 0/10 recommended if you don’t. Definitely super useful to make notes, annotate PDFs and do anything else with iPad. Could’ve been cheaper. I’ve not tried any alternatives but I doubt they’ll be as good.
